first american financial corporation headquaters phase one
First America Financial Corporation Headquarters Phase One Respecting the architectural style and identity associated with this corporation, the new corporate headquarters merges traditional early American Jeffersonian architecture with contemporary office building design. The first phase, three building, 208,000 SF campus is planned on a 28.9 acre site facing the Costa Mesa Freeway in Santa Ana, CA and is organized around a "campus commons" and pedestrian arcade similar to Thomas Jefferson's University of Virginia. The primary public/private spaces including the building entry lobbies, cafeteria and meeting rooms are all accurately modeled after other buildings by Thomas Jefferson and are "framed" by the backdrop of contemporary modern office buildings. The company's new motto being, "you have to walk through our past to get to our future".
